RESCUE TASK FORCE END USER INSTRUCTOR COURSE
Lake Villa IL. January 27-28, 2026 9am-5pm
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This two day, 16-hour Instructor course has been designed to train Police Officers and Firefighter/Paramedics as instructors to teach Active Threat Rescue Task Force skill sets. The focus of this program will be to provide the knowledge, specialized tactical skills, and associated materials to develop, implement, and teach Rescue Task Force End User courses to Police Officers and Firefighter/Paramedics at their respective departments.
RESCUE TASK FORCE OPERATIONAL CONCEPT: Police Officers and Firefighter/Paramedics operating together during an Active Threat situation rapidly performing critical lifesaving medical procedures and triage under the force protection of law enforcement.
COURSE PREREQUISITES: Attending EMS – Firefighters – Paramedics - TEMS should be responsible for, or will be responsible for, conducting RTF training at their departments.
COST: FREE -There is no cost to attend.
Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation notification with reporting instructions and an equipment list.

There will be a short 2-hour classroom introduction, followed by two days of hands-on tactical training and scenarios.

PARKING: Anywhere around the building – there is no outside practical training.
Enter through the west door doors.
Please bring Water / Sport Drinks to Maintain Hydration during training.
LUNCH: Please bring a bag lunch each day.
Firefighters / Paramedics/EMS - Please Wear/Bring the Following Equipment:
- Regular Station Uniform
- Clear Impact Resistant Safety Glasses
- Fire Traffic Safety Vest
- Gloves
- Department Ball Cap – if available
- Any training Tourniquets / Trauma Dressings / Ballistic Protection you would like to train with / utilize during Scenarios.
