The Illinois Tactical Officers Association is pleased to provide this dynamic training opportunity:

One-Day Executive Symposium

held in conjunction with the 

37^th Annual Training Conference

Monday - November 24, 2025

9am - 4pm CST, Rosemont, Illinois

 Presentation exclusively for: 

Chiefs, Sheriffs, Deputy Chiefs and Command Officers

While the three-day conference is open to all executives and can also include attending the Executive Symposium - this one-day Executive Symposium is specially designed to present current critical topics to Chief Executives and their command staff who may not be able to attend the full three-day conference.

Presenters at the one-day Executive Symposium include:

Joshua Bitsko, Las Vegas PD (Ret.)

Joshua Bitsko, a retired Las Vegas police captain with 24 years of diverse experience, played a crucial role in responding to the 1 October 2017 Massacre - the largest mass shooting incident in US history. His firsthand experience in active shooter situations gives him insight on both the stressors of being on the front lines and the pressures of leading a police response when lives are at stake.

Travis Norton, Lt. (Ret.) and Use of Force Expert

Travis Norton is a retired 25-year law enforcement professional and court recognized police practices and use of force expert. He is a skilled police lieutenant, SWAT Commander, and has trained officers, supervisors, and police executives nationwide and abroad. An instructor for over 15 years in use of force and tactical subjects, Travis currently instructs for the NTOA and CATO.

This event has been submitted for 6 hours of Chief / Deputy Chief training hours through ILETSB.

The One-Day Executive Symposium includes: A One Year ITOA Membership, and Lunch, all for just $150.00.

Cost: $150.00

If you are already registered for the full 3-Day ITOA Conference, there is no additional charge to attend the Executive Symposium. You can simply attend the Executive events on Monday instead of the general sessions.
