Tactical Rifle/Pistol FTX

Times: 1500-2000

Location: Lockport, IL

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Shooters will be able to run through multiple courses of fire covering the tactical application of the pistol and rifle at their own pace on two separate ranges. They will be able to re-shoot the courses of fire as many times as they choose, so long as open space on the firing line is available.

GOALS & OBJECTIVES:

Enhance the officer’s ability to perform Tactical Live Fire techniques and tactics.
To allow students to participate in realistic live fire scenarios to enhance their ability to respond to active threat situations.

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Be proficient and familiar with the fundamental safe operation of the duty pistol and police tactical rifle.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ammunition- 200 Rds. Pistol / 200 Rds. Rifle (Minimum)
Duty holster & Pistol with spare magazines
Tactical rifle with sling and chamber-blocking device
Ballistic vest
Eye & ear protection
Appropriate apparel for the weather

COST AND REGISTRATION:

$10 – ITOA Members

$40 – Non-Members, Includes a one-year ITOA Membership
