The Illinois Tactical Officers Association in cooperation with the

Illinois State Police D5 Firearms Training Facility is pleased to offer this training opportunity.

Tactical Rifle/Pistol FTX

Date: February 26, 2023

Times:

Registration begins at 0930 hrs.

Live fire begins 1000 hrs.

Last registration at 1300 hrs.

Live fire ends at 1500 hrs.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:  

Shooters will have the ability to run through multiple courses of fire covering the tactical application of the pistol and rifle at their own pace on two separate ranges. Shooters will be able to re-shoot the courses of fire as many as they choose, so long as open space on the firing line is available. 

GOALS & OBJECTIVES:

• Enhance the officer’s ability to perform Tactical Live Fire techniques and tactics.
• To allow students the opportunity to participate in realistic live fire scenarios that will enhance their capabilities to respond to active threat situations.

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Be proficient and familiar with the fundamental safe operation of the duty pistol and police tactical rifle.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Ammunition- 100 Rds. Pistol / 100 Rds. Rifle (Minimum)
• Duty holster & Pistol with spare magazines
• Tactical rifle with sling and chamber blocking device
• Ballistic vest
• Eye & ear protection

• Appropriate apparel for the weather 

COST AND REGISTRATION:

$10 – ITOA Members

$40 – Non-Members, Includes a one year ITOA Membership

**If you are not a current ITOA member, you must choose the non-member option. Membership is required to attend the FTX.
